Margaret (Strong) de Larraín (1897-1985)

Margaret Rockefeller (Strong), Marquise de Cuevas, Mrs. de Larraín

Her first husband was the acknowledged lover of the Russian Prince Felix Yuspov (1887-1967), best-known for his role in the assassination of Rasputin. After he died, Margaret married one of her husband's more recent lovers, the very charming Raymundo de Larrain. He was 42, she was 80. For the wedding, he bought her a new set of teeth and a wheelchair, doing her hair and manicuring her nails beautifully for the occasion. After her death less than ten years later, it transpired that $30-million from her estate had mysteriously disappeared. She had two children from her first marriage.
