Center Hitchcock (1856-1908)

He was born in New York City and was educated in England at Christ Church College, Oxford. Being of delicate health, he was brought up in the country as much as possible where he developed a passion for country sports and was an early pioneer of fox hunting in America. He did not engage in business, but was prominent in the social life of New York.
