Robert Livingston Cutting Jr. (1836-1894)
of New York City; Member of the Committee of Seventy
He was born in New York City. He succeeded his father as a member of the New York Stock Exchange. In 1878, with an investment of $300,000, he was among the five incorporators of the Edison Electric Light Company. In 1867, he married Judith, daughter of William Armistead Moale, of Baltimore. They had four children, two of whom (listed) survived to adulthood.
