Reginald Lee Fendall Wendell (1898-1928)
Died unmarried at Highclere Castle, Hampshire
His widowed mother moved to England in 1912 where they moved in with her first cousin, Mrs. Gertrude Griffiths. He was sent to Eton where he became the only the second American invited to join "Pop" - the twnety most popular boys in the school, elected by their peers.
