Mann Page II (1718-1780)

The Hon. Mann Page II, of "Rosewell" Gloucester County, Virginia

He was born in Virginia and was educated in England at Eton and Oxford University. On returning to America, he was appointed to the Governor's Council of the Colony of Virginia. He completed and lived at the mansion started by his father, Rosewell. He was married twice. In 1743, he married Alice, daughter of John Grymes, Receiver-General of Virginia, and they had three children, two of whom (listed) survived to adulthood. In 1748, he married Anne Corbin Tayloe of Mount Airy and had seven further children, of whom five (listed) survived to adulthood.
