Howard Edwards Huntington (1876-1922)
Railway Executive, of Oak Knoll, Pasadena, Los Angeles
He was born at St. Albans, West Virginia. He started his career at the age of eighteen (1894) in the engineering department of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. After six years, he left to get a college education and was accepted into Harvard University. He later became an executive with the Los Angeles Railway Company and the Pacific Electric Railway Company. In 1905, he married Leslie Thayer Green and they had six children (listed). They lived in San Marino and then at Oak Knoll in Pasadena before he died prematurely. His widow remarried James R. Brehm in 1924.
