Howard Edwards Huntington, Jr. (1910-1980)

He was born at Pasadena, California, and attended Andover Academy and Stanford University. He was a licensed pilot and worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (1935 to 1937) and Southwest Aircraft. In 1939, he was Secretary-Treasurer of Pacific Discount Corporation. During World War II, he served with the Royal Air Force (1941-42) before transferring to the U.S. Army Air Force and the U.S. Naval Reserve. He was married twice. In 1940, he married Lorraine Hopkins, daughter of another prominent Pasadena family, and they had 3-children After they divorced in the 1960s, he married Shirley Hull, daughter of Kenneth Duryee Hull and ex-wife of George de Peyster.
