Mrs Harriet Stewart (Brown) Tailer, Blair

She was a great-great granddaughter of Alexander Brown, Founder of the investment bank Alexander Brown & Sons, of Baltimore. Her mother was a first cousin of "Aunt Bessie Merryman," Wallis Simpson's favorite aunt. On the occasion of he first marriage in 1909, her father gave her $500,000 as a wedding present.
