Arthur Vincent (1701-1761)
Merchant, Sheriff, Alderman & Mayor of the City of Limerick
He was the younger brother of John Vincent (1689-1765) of Mardyke who was appointed Chamberlain of Limerick in 1740. In 1761, a Parliamentary committee pronounced Arthur's brother, an opium user, "a confused witness in a bad state of health". In 1731, he married Blanche Waller of Cully (Castle Waller), Co. Tipperary, and had a son.
