Samuel P. Bush House

1550 Roxbury Road, Marble Cliff, Columbus, Ohio

Built in 1908, for Samuel Prescott Bush (1863-1948) and his first wife, Flora Sheldon (1872-1920). Samuel was the President of Buckeye Steel Castings Company and is the grandfather of George H.W. Bush, 41st President of the United States. His house was later occupied by former actor Hugh Dillman who for just over twenty-years was married to arguably the richest woman in the world, Mrs Anna Dodge, co-heiress of the Dodge Motor Company fortune. After Dillman's death, the house became the the Sisters' Residence at St Raphael's, as it remains today.
