William Warren Baldwin (1775-1844)

Judge, Architect, Reformer & 6th Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada

He and his son, Robert (Joint Premier of Canada 1842-43), are recognized for having introduced the concept of "responsible government," the principle of cabinet rule on which Canadian democracy is based.
