William Middleton (1710-1785)

of "Crowfield" South Carolina & Crowfield Hall, Suffolk

He built a "magnificent country home" on the Middleton land at Goose Creek in Berkeley County that he named "Crowfield" for his English estate, Crowfield Hall on 9,000-acres in Suffolk.
