William Beverley (1696-1756)

Col. William Beverley, of "Blandfield" Essex County, Virginia

He was Clerk of Essex County (1716-1745), Member of the House of Burgesses, and served on the Governor's Council. He owned considerable land and his largest estate, Beverley Park, covered 118,490-acres. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Bland, and had at least 3-children (listed above). His son built Blandfield
