Warner Lewis, Jr. (1747-1791)

of Warner Hall, Gloucester Co., Virginia

He was educated in England at Oxford University during which time he had his portrait painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds which cost his father 100-guineas. The portrait was lost in 1916 when Rosewell burned down, where it had been removed after Warner Hall was sold out of the family by his granddaughter in 1834.
