Thomas Ringgold (1715-1772)
Merchant, Slave Trader & Member of the Maryland House of Delegates
He was in partnership with Samuel Galloway and together they ran the largest slave trade operation in the Chesapeake Bay, importing thousands of slaves in to Maryland including one of the last shipments in the transatlantic slave trade.
