Thomas Pearsall Thorne (1861-1922)

He mixed with a distinguished circle in France that included Baron Gourgaud, Prince de Faucigny-Lucinge, Prince Murat, Comte de Montesquiou-Fezensac, Paul Rodocanachi, Charles Achille Fould, etc. He also wrote a romantic comic opera - "Leonardo" - with Gilbert Burgess that was performed at the Garrick Theater and the Fourteenth Street Theatre in New York in 1895. He was not married.
