Sir Reginald Drax (1880-1967)

Admiral Sir Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett-Ernle-Erle-Drax, of Charborough

In 1916, after the death of his mother, his name was changed by Royal License to Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett-Ernle-Erle-Drax, giving him title to the estates that came from those families. Known as "Sir Reginald Drax" his surname inspired that of Ian Fleming's arch-villain in Moonraker, Sir Hugo Drax.
