Snyder Hoxie Clark (1869-1944)

S. Hoxie Clark, Attorney, of St. Louis, Missouri & New York City

He was the only child of S.H.H. Clark, President of the Union Pacific Railroad. He graduated from Princeton University (1864) and Washington University Law School (1896). He became a prominent attorney in St. Louis, Missouri, and was a member of the Princeton Club of New York. In 1901, he purchased the historic Villa Belvidere as a summer home. He kept a house in Manhattan and retired to Orlando, Florida. He married Louise Squires and adopted two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary.
