Richard Taylor (1826-1879)

Lt.-Gen. "Dick" Taylor, of "Fashion Plantation" Hahnville, Louisiana

He was the only son of U.S. President Zachary Taylor and the brother-in-law of Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States. He was a Louisiana statesman and a member of the 1861 Secession Convention.
