Rev. Andrew Chalmers Wilson (1872-1952)
of Ayrault House, Newport, R.I., President of the Redwood Athenaeum of Newport
He and his wife, Mary Sturges (a niece of J.P. Morgan and William Henry Osborn, President of the Illinois Central Railroad), purchased Ayrault House from Virginia Scott Hoyt who commissioned it in 1915. The house features a staircase removed from an 18th century townhouse in New York. He died without children.
