Pierre Lorillard Barbey (1882-1956)
of Tuxedo Park, New York, & Palm Beach, Florida
He was born in Paris and was educated in England at Clifton College near Bristol before graduating from Harvard (1904). In 1907 he married Florence, daughter of James de Laval Flower, of New York City and New Orleans. They had two sons. In 1908, they bought the Ballard Smith House in Tuxedo Park.
