Peter Wraxall (c.1720-1759)
Captain Peter Wraxall, of New York City
He was the uncle of the distinguished traveller Sir Nathaniel Wraxall 1st Bt.. He was the Secretary of Indian affairs and aide-de-camp to his relation Sir William Johnson, 1st Bt., of New York. In 1754, he was Secretary to the Provincial Congress at Albany.
