Nathaniel Fitz Randolph (1642-1713)

of Woodbridge, Planter & Member of the New Jersey Provincial Assembly

He was born at Barnstaple, Massachusetts. In about 1677 he settled on a tract of land that he purchased in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In 1693, he was elected as a Representative to the New Jersey Provincial Assembly. He joined the Society of Friends in 1703 and meetings were held at his house. In 1662, he married his first wife, Mary, daughter of John Holly, a Member of the Provincial Assembly for Stamford.
