Mrs "Minnie" Mary Elizabeth (Clark) Griffin; Artist's Model
She was an artist's model and posed for painters such as William Merritt Chase, J. Carroll Beckwith, Thomas Wilmer Dewing, Charles Dana Gibson, and the sculptor Daniel Chester French too. Chase wrote about her and Beckwith hosted her wedding to the architect Percy Griffin at his cottage in the Catskills. After she married, she didn't pose anymore.
