She was on the first Forbes Rich List in 1918 placed eleventh with $80-million that put her slightly ahead of Vincent Astor and behind Edward H.R. Green and William Kissam Vanderbilt who were tied at tenth. She was then the widow of the railroad baron E.H. Harriman and they were survived by six children (listed above).
