Marianne (Caton) Patterson, The Marchioness of Wellesley
She married the Duke of Wellington's brother, Richard. The Duke was very fond of Marianne - some said they were lovers - and he had pleaded with her not to marry his brother, warning her in particular that "The Parasites" (Richard's children by his long-term lover) would see her as an enemy. She died without children.
