Mann Page (1766-1813)
Mann Page, of "Shelly" Gloucester County, Virginia
He founded the Shelly Plantation on the York River on the hill opposite Rosewell, across Carter's Creek. The house he built there was destroyed by fire in 1883 but was afterwards rebuilt. In 1788, he married Elizabeth, daughter of Governor Thomas Nelson, and they were the parents of fifteen children.
