Mrs Louisa (Robb) Livingston
She was active in civic, political, social and charitable circles. She was a founder and President of the Southampton Fresh Air Home for Crippled Children on Long Island. She was active in clean city campaigns and was Chairman of the Beekman Street Hospital social service committee. During World War II she was Chairman of the women's division of the diamond jubilee drive for the Salvation Army. She headed the executive committee of the Southampton branch of the American Friends of France, and of Bundles for Britain. She was also an officer of the Vocational Foundation and was an active member of the Red Cross. She was co-Chairman of the Republican Committee of Suffolk County and in New York she was Chairman of the women's committee for the election of Mayor La Guardia. In 1954, she presented the New-York Historical Society with a set of early steamboat papers which included a large sketch of the Clermont and a deed to Robert Livingston for a half interest in the vessel - both signed by Robert Fulton. She married the Goodhue Livingston who designed the Hayden Planetarium among other buildings. She died at 720 Park Avenue survived by 2-children & 20-great/grandchildren.
