Lindley Murray Ferris (1810-1872)
of "Coldenham" Montgomery, Orange Co., New York
He purchased "Coldenham" from his wife's cousins, having been built in 1767 by their great-grandfather, Cadwallader Colden. He was resident there by the time of his second marriage in 1854.
