Lewis Cruger Hasell (1858-1923)

Merchant, of New York City & "Harbor Ledge" Greenwich, Connecticut

He was born at Buchanan, Michigan, and was brought up in New York. He entered the dry goods (cotton clothing) commission business and lived between New York City and Greenwich, Connecticut. In 1884, he married Mary, daughter of Mason Renshaw Jones, whose mother built the Mary Mason Jones Mansion. They had a son and two daughters including Mary who was first married to Lord Borwick.
