She is the only child of the 8th Earl Fitzwilliam and through him inherited her £45-million fortune plus the famous Fitzwilliam Art Collection (including seven Stubbses and six Van Dykes) recently valued at £80-million and housed at her home, Bourne Park, Kent. She owns estates in England, Ireland, and the United States. Her only surviving child and sole heir, Helena de Chair, is married to Jacob Rees-Mogg.
