She married H. Mortimer Brooks, of Brooks Brothers & Co., and for her wedding present her father gave her the Grand Hotel in New York on the corner of Broadway and 31st Street, which she promptly leased for $50,000 a year. They were listed as millionaires in 1892 and had three children.
