John Damon Peabody (1883-1944)
Attorney, of New York City & Princeton, Massachusetts
Born in New York, he was educated at Groton, Harvard (1906), and the Columbia University Law School. During WWI, he served as a Captain of Field Artillery. He was a member of the law firm of Montgomery, Peabody, Grace & Derby. He was a director of the Fulton Trust Company and the New York Institution for the Instruction of the Deaf and Dumb. He was a member of the Union Club and the Downtown Association.
