John Cabot (1745-1821)

Captain John Cabot, of Beverly, Massachusetts

He lived in Beverley for many years (see house in image) as a merchant before returning to Salem and then retiring to Boston where he died. In 1792, he was Beverly's representative to the Massachusetts Legislature. He married Hannah, daughter of George Dodge, of Salem & Beverly, and they had a son and two daughters (one of whom, Lucy, died unmarried).
