John Bond Trevor (1909-2006)

Nationalist, and President of the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society

He and his father were among the founders of the American Coalition of Patriotic Societies, that used the slogan, "Keep America American". It promoted "undivided allegiance to the United States" and under his father's presidency campaigned against any form of immigration. He was a Director and Treasurer of the Pioneer Fund that was established in 1937, "to advance the scientific study of heredity and human differences." One of its first projects was to fund the distribution of Erbkrank, a Nazi propaganda film about eugenics, in American churches and schools. For 22-years, he was a trustee of the Trudeau Institute, a biomedical research center in New York, and he served as President of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.
