James Thomas Woodward (1837-1910)
James T. Woodward, of New York; President of the Hanover National Bank
He was born at his father's 500-acre farm in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In later life he kept four homes: 9 East 56th Street, New York City; The Cloister, in Newport; Devilstone at Bar Harbor, Maine; and Belair Mansion, Maryland. He died unmarried and left everything to his nephew, William Woodward Sr., who succeeded him as President of the Hanover National Bank.
