Rev. Isaac Chanler (1701-1749)
Baptist Minister, of Charleston, South Carolina
He was an English Baptist minister, born at Bristol in 1701. He came to Ashley River, near Charleston, South Carolina in about 1733, where he served as pastor for fifteen years. He published a treatise entitled The Doctrines of Glorious Grace Unfolded, Defended, and Practically Improved; also a treatise on Original Sin.
