Gouverneur Kemble (1786-1835)

U.S. Congressman from New York & Founder of the West Point Foundry

His country home at Cold Spring was called "Marshmoor". He eventually sold the West Point Foundry (co-owned with his brother, William) to his brother-in-law, Robert P. Parrott, inventor of the Parrott Gun. He died unmarried.
