George Washington Parke Custis (1781-1857)

"Wash" Parke Custis, of Arlington House, Virginia

His father was George Washington's stepson and only heir, but having predeceased the President, "Wash" became the President's sole heir. His daughter, Mary, married the Confederate General Robert E. Lee.
