Rev. George Vincent (1772-1850)

J.P., Rector of Shanagoden, of Shanagolden House, Co. Limerick

He was the Rector of Shanagolden but lived at Shanagolden House, "an elegant three-story house" on 237-acres. He was also a Justice of the Peace. In 1795, he married Eliza, daughter of Joseph Gubbins of Maidstown Castle, Co. Limerick. After her death, in 1816 he married Martha, daughter of the Rev. William and Martha (Cooke) Collis, of Castle Cooke, Co. Cork. His son, Arthur, succeeded to Shanagolden.
