George Henry Monk (1748-1823)

Major G.H. Monk, Member of the House of Assembly for Windsor, Nova Scotia

He and his wife were married in 1782 and had ten children of whom seven (listed) lived to adulthood. Their eldest daughter was adopted by Monk's childless uncle, Sir James Monk, and inherited Monklands which was then outside Montreal.
