Mrs Ann Deering (Monk) Lloyd, Diarist
She was married at Halifax in 1811 by the Lord Bishop of Nova Scotia to Col. Arthur Lloyd, of the British Army. She is remembered as a diarist (1830-34) and for her correspondence (1810-1826) with Madame St. Laurent among others.
