George E. Pingree (1876-c.1970)
George Elmer Pingree
George Elmer Pingree graduated from Phillips Academy and Dartmouth. He was the president of International Standard Electric Corporation and vice president of International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation. He and his family lived in Brussels for many years where he served on the boards of foreign companies. During World War I, Pingree engaged in special work for the British War Office, and he was awarded the Order of the Crown by Belgium. He was married to Gertrude Maxine.
