George Dodge (1726-1808)
Capt. George Dodge, Merchant Mariner, of Beverly & Salem, Massachusetts
He was a merchant mariner who principally lived at Beverly but traded from Salem too, where he died. He left an estate valued at $282,060. In 1746, he married Lydia, daughter of Benjamin and Lydia (Hayward) Herrick and they were the parents of six children.
