George Arthur Dixon (1891-1956)

Vice-President of the National City Bank, Paris, & Stockbroker of New York City

He graduated from Yale. On returning from Paris in 1933 he bought a seat on the New York Stock Exchange, forming G.A. Dixon & Co. Mrs. Dixon was a daughter of Isidor Straus, the co-founder of Macy's Department Store who went down with his wife on the Titanic. Their daughter married a grandson of the founder of Wanamaker's Department Store.
