Frederick Cowans (1910-1981)
Fred Cowans, Antiques Dealer, of Montreal & London; died unmarried
He was the proprietor of The China Shop in Montreal which opened in 1942. The shop specialised in fine English porcelain and pottery, initially predating 1840. It also contained some furniture, silver, glass and papier maché. He spent a lot of time in London, England, and died unmarried.
