Mrs Florence Temple (Griswold) Cross

Her miniature seen here was painted by Carl A. Weidner in 1905. After her marriage at Newport, R.I., in 1892, she moved to England. They lived between 96 Eaton Square, London (with 11-servants), and Fernhill Park, Cranbourne, Berkshire. After her husband died in 1915 she moved to Socknersh Manor in Etchingham, East Sussex, and 20 Curzon Street in London where she died leaving £170,000.
