Mrs. Elizabeth (Steptoe) Lee, Fendall

She was a favorite of George and Martha Washington, and a frequent visitor to Mount Vernon, as they visited with equal frequency the Lee-Fendall House in Alexandria. She died on a visit to Stratford Hall to visit her daughter, Matilda.
