Elisha Dyer (1772-1854)
Commission Merchant & Textiles Manufacturer, of Providence, Rhode Island
He was born at Gloucester, Massachusetts. He briefly went into partnership with Charles Potter in the importing business. He owned two mills in Providence and became very successful with an extensive real estate empire in Rhode Island.
