Mrs "Elsa" Elisabeth Duer (Bronson) Griscom

She was married in 1901 at Westminster in London to Lloyd C, Griscom who was then the U.S. Minister to Persia. Having lost her father the previous year, she was given away at the altar by her uncle Egerton L. Winthrop. They honeymooned for ten days at a country place loaned to them by Lady Theodore Guest before leaving for Persia. She is buried near her country home Verna at Fairfield in Connecticut.
